Scenic Cave

Hello everyone!

How was your Thanksgiving Weekend?? Did you eat turkey? XD
I had an awesome weekend with my family. (and a sleepover with Cotton ^^)

We went to Scenic Cave on Monday with another family. It was such a great weather! Sunny, warm, and not too hot/cold.
We went on the longest suspension bridge in Ontario (the picture above shows it!) To be honest... It was scary!! I'm afraid of height, so the idea of been on a bridge that moves as you walk...!! Plus there were many children around and they kept shaking the bridge on purpose.... TT
But the scenery was splendid. You can see the beautifully coloured maple trees all around, and town beyond that. I think it was worth the scare on the bridge :P
We also went on hiking in the park, visiting the caves and viewpoints. I took so many pictures! I will share them with you all after I imported them into my computer so please wait for that!

Dinner

Hi everyone!

How are you all??

I went to have dinner with my mom on Tuesday. We meet up near ROM(Royal Ontario Museum) after her work and headed for a Japanese restaurant.
The food was awesome ^^ And it's been a while since we had mon-daughter time so it was nice to be with her and just talk.

Attached is a snapshot of ROM after our dinner.
I really like this place, especially the room with all the crystals and gems. I can stay there all day (^-^)

If you are near Toronto and haven't been there yet, it's really worth it! Please find a time and visit ROM ^^
If you are not near Toronto, and if you ever have a chance to come here, ROM is a must-go!
If you visit there someday, please tell me about your visit~~ ^^

Holes

Hello everyone!
How are you all doing? ^^
I'm doing well except am suffering from the sudden coldness ><
Anyways...
I'm a big book reader since I was little ^^
I've recently read "Holes" by Louis Sachar.
It was such a great book! I kept hearing good reviews about this book but never got a chance to read it.
I regret that I haven't reached for it earlier... :(
The plot was extremely well-organized. I love the kind of book where I can go "Ohhhhhh!!! This led to this and this meant this!!" and this book had lots of it at the end ^^
I would recommend it to you all ^^
Do you have any books that you liked and would recommend to me? ^^

Hello everyone! ^^
The weather suddenly became really cold these few days. >< It was 7 degrees (C) the other day!
I haven't pulled out my warmer cloth yet so I really need to do that soon.
Our concert is only 4 month away! I thought it was a long time away but it is actually not too far anymore.
I'm really looking forward to it and can't wait to perform!
We really want to bring you a perfect performance, one that can impress all of you and give you a really satisfied, warm, and happy feeling when you leave.
We are working hard and will work even harder! ^^
We are going to Karaoke together the end of this month! I'm super super excited! ^^

P.S. This gum makes me happy XD

Last day

Hello everyone!
Today is my last day of trip. Tomorrow we will start heading back to Toronto ^^
It had been a very good trip.
We saw so much amazing view, eat very delicious food, and had wonderful experiences ^^
I don't want the trip to end...
But at the same time, I miss Toronto too.
Most of all, I miss Cotton, Peach, and Baby ><
I really can't wait to see them soon ^^

On the Road!

Hi everyone!
I'm on the road to Halifax right now :)
It's such a great day today ^^
We found a combined yard sale beside the road and stopped to take a look.
They had some very nice antique plates and toys.
I bought a really cute tea pot shaped clock ^^
I will upload a picture later XD
I'm not sure if attaching picture would work but let me try ^^
The view had been like in the picture for this few days and it's really refreshing. I wanted to share that with you all ^^

Trip Update!

Hello everyone!

I thought I would have more time to update my blog, but it had been a very busy trip.
But here's some update! ^^

We drove from Ontario to Quebec, to New Brunswick, PEI, and now I'm in Nova Scotia!
It's been a wonderful trip so far!
So many wonderful activities and beautiful views! ^^
I can't wait to share pictures with you all ^^

One of the most wonderful experience for me have to be visiting Green Gables.
I had been a huge fan of "Anne of Green Gables" since I was a little girl.
I read the entire series so many times :)
This story got me into the lifestyle around that period so much.
I love their lifestyle, I love their customs, and on top of all, I love their cloth!
I've watched the movies as well and always envied the actresses, because I can never fit into it >< :P
So finally be able to visit PEI and seeing Green Gables was really a dream come true!
I'm just so glad to have the chance to go. XD

Summer is here!

Hi everyone!

How are you doing? ^^


I had been taking some summer classes, and just finished exams this morning ^^
It's been a crazy week x_x
But I'm finally free!
I am going to dance and hang out with friends like crazy now XD

I'm going on a family trip starting tomorrow!
I'm so excited! It's been a while since last time we went on a family trip.

Morning Musume

Morning Musume is my top idol since I was a very little girl.

Of course I love what people call "the Golden Era" of MM as well

but I actually love the present Morning Musume a LOT ^^

I am so in love with their performance, especially those in recent 2 years.

I think their singing skills, dancing skills, and performance skills went very high around then and it's been improving day and day.

When 9th generation members joined, I was very very worried about the decrease in their overall performance, especially it was after Eri, LinLin, JunJun left.

But oh I was wrong..... 9th gen is so amazing.

Only a few month after joining, they showed an incredible performance.

I am super super touched and thrilled!

They are my super idol, and my ultimate goal ^^

I want to be able to perform like them someday!

Morning Pinku ^^

Good morning everyone~~

Well... though it's almost noon now :P
I had my mom's walnut cake for breakfast ^^
It was so good! Thank you mom ^^

I was actually the one who started baking in my family.
I was really interested, so my dad asked one of his co-worker's wife to teach me.
That was when I was in Grade. 4 I believe...
I just loved the process a lot and had been baking since then.

Of course I failed so many times :P
I still remember the first sponge cake I tried to bake for Christmas.
I couldn't mix it too well cause we didn't have a electronic mixer back then.

And also the oven's temperature wasn't right.
So when I took it out the oven it looked fine, but it deflated right away......
from a 10cm sponge cake to a 2cm rubber =.=
But my parents ate it for me, and I was so glad. ^_^

I had been baking for family parties and events, and I just love the smile on everybody's face when they eat my cakes and cookies!
I haven't baked for a while, but my mom started to bake instead of me :P
so we still have fresh made cakes at home ^^

Sponge cake is still really challenging for me, and I haven't able to make the perfect one yet.
But I definitely want to try again and again until someday I can make a perfect one! ^^

Rainy Day

Today it was rainy for the entire day here.
Not so hard, just a drizzle.

I usually don't really like rainy days.
It makes me feel gloomy, and on top of all, I hate thunder and lightning :(
Also getting wet isn't fun when you have so much to carry around.

But today I felt happy to see the rain ^^
It hadn't rained so much these days that the grass fields are literary yellow T_T
When you step on it you can even hear the dried up grass cracking under your feet.....
Whenever I walk past the fields I feel so dried up and that I need water ><
So I was so happy to see it raining and I hope it lasts for a bit!

I hope everyone's having/had a great day!

Today I went to the library because it was so hot in my house ><
I wanted to search for some sewing books to get inspired :P
I couldn't really find anything but I read this technique book and it helped a lot!
Cotton and I are planning to make another dress in the near future so... (*^▽^*)

Both of us never really learnt how to sew properly before,
but we just love making things ^^
All our creations come from trial and error.

Cotton designed it, and I made the pattern and sew the base. 

Cotton finished the ribbons and the massive amount of frills XD

It was so much fun and we really want to create another one ^^
